Manila Ocean Park offers
a number of attractions, close encounters and shows. It was too crowded when we
were there. Robert’s sister’s company had an event that day, so after seeing
two attractions, we decided to just go home. We will surely go back though to use
the remaining tickets we have. For now, let me share with you our exhausting
but fun experience at Manila Ocean Park.
OCEANARIUM
Home to 14,000 marine
creatures from around 277 species, this is where our quick tour started. A 25
meter long, 220° curved walkway tunnel
with a spectacular underwater view of amazing sea creatures swimming overhead -
is the main attraction of the oceanarium. I was completely stunned, I
felt like I was under the sea (I dreamt of becoming a mermaid when I was a kid!
Ha-ha!). Lots of reef life, from the smallest to huge ones – fish, rays, sharks
and some interesting specimens like sea dragons.
THE AMAZING STORIES OF YEXEL’S MUSEUM
Located at the second
level of Manila Ocean Park, Yexel’s Toy Museum is truly a perfect place for toy
enthusiasts and children of all ages. Inside the museum you’ll see Iron Man’s
room (Tony Stark’s walk-in closet filled with his Iron Man suits), and also
popular familiar images from Minions (greets you as you enter the museum),
Spiderman, Chipmunks, The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and
many more. I am going to visit this section again. If you visit Manila Ocean
Park, make sure to visit this area, you’ll be so sorry if you fail to see this
attraction.
Honestly,
I tried to take good photos but I wasn’t
able to do that. The crowd was so crazy; it was so hard to move around. Because
there's a company event, the queue for each attraction is more than a
kilometer-stretched and was unorganized so we decided to just leave. But we will
go back, for sure! I will update this
post as soon as we complete our next visit.
