A Satisfying Lunch @ Mr. Choi Kitchen in Forum Robinsons

This place is good. I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants in the Metro, but none of the rest is even close to Mr.Choi Kitchen. I love Chinese food, but I can't eat it as often as I want to because it’s a little hard to find the “real deal”. Or probably I am just not familiar enough of where I can find the authentic Chinese places. *sigh* If you know a place, let me know! *puppy-eyes*

I don’t have any regrets giving this place a try. We were supposed to have our lunch in a spaghetti place, but changed our minds, and decided to go for Chinese food. And here’s what we ordered:

I had a hard time deciding because everything looked so good, but ended up ordering Fish Fillet Taosi Sauce Rice Topping (Php190.00). I loved it. I’m extremely satisfied with this fish dish.

Rex ordered Beef Brisket Rice Topping (Php190.00). He said it was good. And based on the reviews online, I am guessing this dish is one of their most popular meals.

We also ordered Mr. Choi Dimsum Combination (Php300.00). This one is good as well, but a little heavy. This one is the combination of everything I love – siomai, dumplings, and more.

And I will say this again - this place is good! I love the ambiance, the food and I love how everything is well-priced. This restaurant deserves every cent we paid. Before I forget, this isn’t a fast-food, so expect to wait a while after ordering because food is cooked as you order. Anyway, I would highly recommend this place to all Chinese-food lovers.

Christmas Dinner at NuVo Bar - Greenbelt 2, Makati City

This is one my backlogged posts. Anyway, I had a crazy Christmas day back in December. It was a busy one. But I am thankful to have so much for which to be thankful!

My Boss arrived from the US and invited me to join them for Christmas dinner. We had to stroll around Greenbelt 1 to check places but some restaurants were already close. So, we had to go to Greenbelt 2 and we end up here, at NuVo. I love it here. Good food and good live music! The overall ambiance was chic and high-class. Anyway, here's what we ordered:

Requirements for Foreigners who want to Marry their Filipina Fiancées in the Philippines

My husband, Daniel, is an American. We got married here in the Philippines last 2012. Since then, people who want to go through the same process kept asking me questions about the requirements. So, I thought of writing a post about it for me to able to explain everything in detailed.

I understand that getting married is one of the few most exciting events in one’s life. But before you go crazy with other details like rings, gowns, tuxedos, flowers, cakes, receptions, catering, invitations, etc., you have to complete the legal documents that you need before getting married. Please note that the requirements needed in obtaining a marriage license depend on one’s civil status and residence or nationality. In this post I will be sharing the step by step process in getting a Marriage License in the Philippines.
