The open air food courts have come to define Singaporean food culture. That pleasant and welcoming Singaporean street vibe, I felt that here in My Singapore Food Street. Dining here surely bring back some of my happy memories in Singapore. Anyway, here's what we had.
Robert ordered Laksa (Php185.00). It's a Luglug noodles in coconut creamy soup topped with fish cake, togue, baby prawn and boiled egg. It is Robert's favorite. He said he used to eat Laksa when he was working in Singapore few years ago. I tried it too, and it was quite good. A must-try.
Rex and I ordered Hainanese Chicken Meal (Php195.00). It's a fresh chicken steamed in garlic, ginger, salt and spices. Served with Hainanese rice, ginger sauce, chili sauce, dark soy sauce and chicken soup.
Final thought: Love love love this restaurant! Service was good. Place was clean. Food here is pretty good too and the smell of smoke isn't too bad. I am not sure if what we had was authentic or not. Again, I loved it here and would definitely eat here again. I can't wait to go back! I want to try everything on their menu.
