A Noteworthy Dinner at Kulinarya Kitchen in Rockwell Center

I have written a review about Kulinarya Kitchen last year but that got deleted along with my other posts in my old blog. *sniff sniff* Anyway, thought of re-posting this review again since I love this place. This Filipino-Asian-Western-inspired restaurant is definitely a must-try when you're looking for superb meals, excellent service, a relaxing ambiance, all at an affordable price.

I found this restaurant through Facebook. I saw one of my friends liked a photo from their page that got me almost literally drooled. Yes, food is my weakness! Haha! So, I took Mom with me that afternoon to give this place a try. Here’s our first and unforgettable Kulinarya Kitchen experience.

I usually order soup before every meal. In Kulinarya Kitchen, I ordered their Fresh Mushroom Soup (Php165.00) since it’s my favorite. Honestly, it was in this restaurant that I tasted a real mushroom soup for the first time. Those awful mushroom soups that I've all tasted just became a distant memory!

Mom ordered soup too. She chose Cream of Squash Soup (Php150.00). It's Mom’s soup but I tried it anyway. HAHA! It does taste good too. It’s truly a healthy and delicious one!

I told Mom to order whatever she likes regardless of the price. She really did! HAHA! She ordered Chilean Sea Bass (Php720.00). In the menu it says “Miso marinated Chilean sea bass with sweet soy reduction. Served with sautéed spinach and soba noodles spring rolls w/ wasabi dressing”. At first I thought, “This menu is overrated, and how could a fish be this expensive“. I have never heard of it, and never tasted one! But I was completely wrong. First bite – Jesus, its phenomenal! I have never had such delicious fish-meal! This Sea Bass will melt in your mouth! A must-try!

I always order Alfredo fettuccine wherever I go, but that time, I ordered Aligue Pasta – solo (Php250.00) just to try something new. Gave it a go and have no regrets. If you consider yourself a pasta adventurer this is a must try. The tasty aligue of crab, combined with Pasta, tastes like sweet heaven! I would say this might be not too good for those with High Blood Pressure, but still I would like to recommend this. *chuckles*

A meal is not complete without a delicious dessert to top it off! We ordered Pistachio Sans Rival (Php200.00) – it’s their house favorite. Boy oh boy – this tastes so darn good I want to eat it every day for the rest of my life! *wink*

Our whole experience so far has been absolutely amazing! We had an enjoyable meal, portions were big, and prices are fair and reasonable. The staffs were very attentive to our needs and very accommodating. They were a great help! The restaurant interior had a great deal of character - refreshingly modern interior, and it’s clean. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, as both me and my Mom had a wonderful dinner experience.
